I use some of the steps for my customers as well for private use and after some months of blowing up my private web site with JavaScript, Ajax and lots of social media buttons I reduced a lot. In my opinion this is the most important performance gain…

Anyway regarding my customers it’s difficult to explain why not to use / or optimize lots of JavaScript and so on… even with diagrams and graphics.
