Charlie Arehart from the Online ColdFusion Meetup Group invited me to talk about the challenges of JavaScript/AJAX Performance Analysis in modern Web Applications. The online meeting is free for everyone who is interested.

Time: Thursday, February 11th at 12 PM EST (previous scheduled for January 14th)
Details: More details can be found at Trace JavaScript/AJAX Performance in your Web Apps
Online Meeting: Register and logon to the meeting
Recording: Access the recorded session at a later time

Why should you attend? What will you learn?

Attendees will learn how to troubleshoot performance issues in modern web applications using the FREE dynaTrace AJAX Edition to answer the following questions:

  • How much time is spent in JavaScript vs. AJAX vs. DOM access vs.  Network Roundtrip vs. Rendering Time?
  • Is it my JavaScript code or one of the JavaScript libraries that I am using (jQuery, GWT, DWR, Prototype, …)?
  • Where are my hotspots and what can I do to solve these problems?
  • How can I automate problem analysis to pro actively prevent problems?

Hope to see some of you online.
