Preparing for SPTechCon, January 27th – 29th

by Andreas Grabner, Jan 02, 09

I’ve been invited to the SharePoint Technology Conference in San Francisco to share my thoughts about Performance & Scalability of Enterprise Applications based on Microsoft SharePoint Technology.

Over the past months I worked with several customers of dynaTrace that use SharePoint as their Intranet or Internet Portal as well as customers that built their software solutions on the SharePoint Technology Platform.

As with any Application Framework – especially as rich in functionality as SharePoint – its easy to introduce code or configuration changes that affect overall performance and scalabilty.

If you are going to be at SharePoint TechCon you may want to consider the following two talks of mine:

  • 602: INTO THE WILD: THE CHALLENGES OF CUSTOMIZED SHAREPOINT APPS IN RELEASE
  • 801: BUILDING SCALABLE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHAREPOINT APPLICATIONS

Check out the full schedule of classes and also the conference blog
